Amsterdam can also be reached by train. The railway system has a direct line that connects Amsterdam’s Schiphol International ( AMS ) Airport to Central Station. There are 7-8 trains per hour. The trip takes around 15-20 minutes and the trains generally leave from platform 1, 2 or 3. It will either be direct or make a couple of stops before Central Station. The fastest train is Intercity Direct in 14 minutes.
Once you have entered into the airport from the plane look for the many kiosks to purchase your ticket. There are several workers you may ask for help as well as an informational ticket desk you can buy from directly.

2. Local bus (bus 400 or 401) to Eindhoven rail station then Intercity train to Amsterdam Central (singles: €3.50 bus + €19.80 train, run regularly all day).
